John graduated in electronics engineering then quickly shifted his career to voice & data consulting, B2E sales (major systems) and international channel management. He moved into the C-suite in 2002 and over 12 years ran 3 different tech companies as a professional operator. He was very fortunate to have two heavy hitter executive mentors who poured their knowledge and wisdom into him, as best they could, for 20+ years. It changed the lens through which he viewed C-level management.
John has since retired from being a hired gun CEO and now provides advanced Founder to CEO leadership mentoring alongside the ACETECH organization. He has been handed the nickname of The Founder Whisperer (a bit weird but apparently quite accurate). He really does love seeing Founders become effective CEO’s.
His marriage to Maureen, their launching of 3 adults along with his Christian faith and volunteer life define who he is.
